R.I.S.E. Certificate Program
About the Program
The TCU R.I.S.E. Certificate Program is a collaborative initiative between TCU Human Resources and the Center for Connection Culture focused on fostering leadership, personal growth, and organizational impact. Participants are equipped with tools, insight, and a supportive learning community while exploring social and cultural issues that shape campus life. Recognized with the CUPA-HR Inclusion Cultivates Excellence Award, those selected for this year’s class will join the 6th Cohort of R.I.S.E.
The program prepares participants to become agents of social change and cultural transformation—leaders who can navigate complex social dynamics with purpose, collaboration, and integrity. Leadership in this context is not defined by position, but by the ability to inspire progress and strengthen communities through shared values and meaningful action.
Faculty and staff employed no less than .75FTE at TCU or .50FTE at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine for at least one year at the time of application are eligible to apply for this program.
R.I.S.E. empowers individuals to:
- Develop self-awareness and cultural competence through guided reflection and assessment
- Strengthen their capacity to lead with empathy, clarity, and resilience in complex and evolving environments
- Practice strategies for fostering collaboration, trust, and belonging across diverse teams and communities
- Transform insight into meaningful action that supports a culturally competent and resilient campus
This program is designed for those ready to lead with authencity, embrace connection, and help shape a culturally competent and resilient campus.
