Texas Christian University (TCU) today announced AI² (Accelerating Institutional AI),
a significant institutional investment designed to accelerate high performance secure
research computing, enrich student learning and career preparation, and expand the
responsible use of artificial intelligence across campus.
Texas Christian University today announced a new endowed fund made possible by a $3
million investment from the Bezos Family Foundation and established in recognition
of the College of Education’s centennial year. The endowment will fund an expansion
of the college’s research initiatives, fueling the science of learning while bolstering
faculty-led research and community-engaged projects that address critical education

The Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University and UT Southwestern

New research from Texas Christian University links the biological differences in the
make-up of male and female bodies to jumping performance. The new study shows that
sex differences in the muscles matter a lot for jumping high, but relatively little
for jumping far.

On Monday, Texas Christian University (TCU) will kick off its 152nd academic year
by welcoming more than 13,000 students, including more than 2,700 first-year students,
the largest incoming class in university history, back to campus and Fort Worth.
The “Welcome Home” celebration is staged on Sesquicentennial Plaza featuring giveaways,
food trucks and plenty of Horned Frog spirit.
Texas Christian University, one of the nation’s top private institutions, announced
the official launch of TCU for Texans, an ambitious aid initiative that removes financial
barriers to attendance by providing tuition, as well as assistance for food and housing,
for qualifying Texas students. Beginning with the Fall 2026 class, TCU for Texans
will be available to incoming first-year students from Texas whose families earn $70,000
or less in adjusted gross income (AGI) and meet other eligibility criteria through
the financial aid application process.
In a moment that stunned TCU football players, coaches and others, TCU football legend,
Pro Football Hall of Famer and TCU Trustee LaDainian Tomlinson (LT) surprised the
Horned Frog community today by donating his iconic Pro Football Hall of Fame gold
jacket to his alma mater.
