Zana Marjanovic is an activist and actress and had the lead in Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011). Marjanovic managed to parlay her amazing talents as an actress towards democratic reform, child development, and support for victims of genocide and women in Bosnia/Herzegovina. In 2014 she was elected into the House of Parliament, where she has championed these issues on a national scale through Bosnia/Herzegovina and the former Yugoslavian region, as well as on a global platform.
