Kat Blaque, “True T Live: The Historical Erasure of Transgender Women of Color”

Thursday 1st March 2018

5pm in Sid Rich Lecture Hall 1

This two-part event will bridge celebrations of Black History Month and Women’s History Month with a focus on the rich and diverse histories of black women.

For the second event, CRES and WGST welcome Kat Blaque, a popular social media educator and activist who makes timely and accessible videos on topics like feminism, activism, and intersectionality. Kat will speak on the historical erasure of trans women of color from civil rights, feminist, and queer histories of social justice movements.
