WGST Staff Affiliate Profiles

 

Women & Gender Studies has Core and Associate Affiliates in academic and student service units across the university. Our staff affiliates have skills and expertise—related to women, gender, sexuality, and more—that are often not reflected in their job titles. Please consider reaching out to these stellar affiliates for support and collaboration in program planning, student support, and content development for classes, social media, and other projects.

Ammie is the research, instruction, and collection development librarian and liaison for the Women & Gender Studies Program.

Lindsay, Assistant Director of the First Year Experience, is particularly interested in the social construction of gender and experiences beyond the gender binary.

In August 2018, Cameron will graduate from TCU with an MSW from Harris College. He is an Academic Advisor in the John V. Roach Honors College.

Ebony oversees the TCU Intentional Dialogue Training program in addition to her role as the Director of TCU Student Organizations in the Office of Student Development Services. She is also a CRES Executive Committee member, Certified Strengths Trainer, Certified True Colors Facilitator, and a Certified Safe Zone Trainer.

As a Residence Hall Director, Chelsea works to foster inclusive environments within the residence halls but acknowledges there is always more work to be done Note:  In fall 2018, Residence Halls will officially have a Cultural Connector in each hall, which the HD will advise, to promote intentional programming and dialogue around diversity and inclusion.
